Refund Policy

1. Nature of Service and Irreversibility of On-Chain Transactions

Auras Pay operates exclusively as a non-custodial distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform. The Company does not receive, store, transmit, or control any virtual assets on behalf of users.

All cryptocurrency payments facilitated through Auras Pay occur directly between the merchant and the customer on a public blockchain network.

Accordingly:

  • Auras Pay has no technical or legal ability to reverse, cancel, or refund any blockchain transaction.
  • All on-chain transfers are final, irreversible, and not subject to chargebacks once broadcast to the network.
  • Any refund related to a customer purchase must be handled solely and directly between the merchant and the customer.

2. Refunds Relating to Subscription Fees or Transaction Credits

Auras Pay offers subscription plans and prepaid transaction credits. Refunds for these fees may be considered only under the following circumstances:

2.1 Eligible Refunds

A refund request may be approved if:

  • a) A billing error occurred resulting in an incorrect charge;
  • b) A material technical failure of the Auras Pay platform prevented the user from accessing the service;
  • c) The user cancels a new subscription within seven (7) days of activation, provided that no transaction credits have been consumed.

2.2 Non-Eligible Refunds

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Consumed transaction credits;
  • Subscription periods during which the service was accessed or used;
  • Free trials that converted to paid plans after usage;
  • Inability to process payments due to incorrect merchant wallet configuration, network congestion, or third-party system failures;
  • User errors relating to crypto transfers.

Auras Pay is not responsible for losses arising from network downtime, gas-fee fluctuations, incorrect wallet addresses, or blockchain-related risks inherent to decentralized systems.

3. Merchant Responsibility for Customer Refunds

Merchants utilizing Auras Pay acknowledge and agree that:

  • They bear full and exclusive responsibility for issuing refunds to their customers;
  • Refunds must be executed by sending cryptocurrency directly back to the customer's wallet address;
  • Auras Pay does not mediate disputes, process chargebacks, or intervene in merchant–customer relationships.

Each merchant remains independently responsible for compliance with applicable consumer protection and commercial laws in their jurisdiction.

4. Refund Request Procedure (Auras Pay Fees Only)

Requests concerning subscription fees or transaction credits must be submitted to:

The request must include:

  • Registered account email address;
  • Date and description of the charge;
  • Reason for the refund request;
  • Supporting documentation, if applicable.

Auras Pay will review all requests and respond within five (5) business days. Approval of any refund is solely at the discretion of Auras Technologies MENA FZCO.

5. Amendments to This Policy

Auras Technologies MENA FZCO reserves the right to amend, update, or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any revisions will take effect upon publication on the Auras Pay website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

6. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
